Chamber CEO extols noble profession to biz school grads

Donohue takes to the podium as commencement speaker Photo: Pepperdine University Tom Donohue gave a commencement speech April 22 at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu, Calif. The CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce also picked up an honorary doctor of business degree. Donohue told graduates that business is often maligned for being all about money, but is really a powerful force for good in society. "What I most want to convey to you is simply this, that this is a noble profession. Thank you for choosing to be a part of it," Donohue said.
